Same Changes - 4/20/2011

Something has arisen in my mind lately that I feel inclined to explore.  Certain situations and experiences crop up in my life time and time again.  They almost seem redundant in their likeness, as though deja vu was a phenomenon that occurred daily in my life, and I'm only sometimes consciously aware of it.  It's like the film Groundhog Day in many respects, and as I've studied the messages of that movie rigorously for the last 18 years you'd think I'd start incorporating it's fundamental lesson within my experiences.  That life will keep repeating itself and throwing lessons and opportunities at you over and over until you choose to learn and act upon them.

And while I've made this point elsewhere before, many times....I feel that perhaps I was missing something.  Maybe the universe repeats similar experiences not for our own edification, but because it has to.  It's trapped in a perpetual cycle for all infinity, and the only way it can rise up to the next level in the cycle is through our deliberate efforts. For sentient life to understand the pattern of repetition and seek to change it.  We must realize what is going on, embrace the lesson, and collectively CHOOSE DIFFERENTLY, so consciousness everywhere can be elevated and the universe can rejoice as it finally changes and moves upward.

And what are we to learn, how are we to act differently in order to galvanize the ascension of the cosmos?  I'll leave that for you to decide, but my belief is that we are to stop seeing one another as separate.  To remember our oneness and thus act not in self interest, but in the interest of everyone.  And until we remember our unity and act upon this remembrance, the Universe will repeat the same lessons, moments, situations, and experiences because it cannot evolve until we do.
